What is the name of the hinge piece on the ends (not the safety bars) of TTO razors? I noticed this to be one of the more solid pieces of the British Gillette razors. They have one sold bar with pins sticking out of each end, whereas most American Gillette razors use two pieces of bent steel, where the tip of each piece is the pin, and a cover plate is usually "glued" over it, for a cleaner look (though this was not done on older razors, like my Senator).

Something I noticed was that the American Gillette Super Adjustable razors also have the solid (British) end piece design. This is interesting, because in a way this means the head of this razor is superior to that off the Slim and Fatboy's, if you are a follower of the British razor design being more Heavy Duty.
