    Default Bexley Pens

What's the general consensus of these pens?

Any models that are particularly noteworthy? The Intrepid, Elegancia and Americana lines are getting my attention.

My new Bexley Simplicity fine nib pen in teal arrived in the mail today. I find it is a light pen, but it is very smooth writing. They appear to be on sale right now. I posted a photo in the Nib Acquisitions..

I don't have one but that Simplicity II in classic orange has my attention.

And you gotta love those roller clips!

I've had a simplicity for about a year, and it is a fantastic writer. Mine came from Binder, and he tunes up the nib, so I don't know how much of it's smoothness is the pen and how much is what he did to it. I have no experience with other models. The only knocks are pretty minor. One is that all but one of them are cartridge/converter pens, which rankles some people but not me. The other thing is that I feel like the price for a gold nib is pretty steep, but I guess they're all pretty bad right now except the Lamy 2000, given the price of gold (I think the lamy is a small nib)

Nice Looking pen.. I was considering that also, but ended up getting the Simplicity in teal... I would send Todd an email these seem to be discontinued. You may get the sale price. I may decide to pick one of these up as well..

I have a Belmont by Gate City Pen, my understanding is that it is actually made by Bexley. It's a good pen I love that it holds 1.8 ml of ink. I have been looking at the Bexley Corona and it has been getting rave reviews over on FPN.

I have had a couple of Bexley's. They never quite fit my hand as well as others and I traded them off. Of course the beauty of this AD is always YMMV.

I got a Bexley Corona Summer Storm a couple of weeks ago and I love it.

I got it with a fine nib and bought an extra medium nib that I plan to grind down to a cursive italic. The fine point is very smooth and lays down a nice line -- not too wet or dry. The piston mechanism is smoother than my Pelikan 200 and 215 pens. It is a full sized pen (slightly bigger than my Pelikan M605) but feels great to write with.

I got it from Teri at Peyton Street Pens and she has a special promo code at FPN where you get $15 off orders over $100. She's another great vendor and has a great inventory of NOS pens. (No affiliation, blah, blah, blah).

I have the top pen with a custom ground nib from Richard Binder. It is a wonderful writer.

That's a nice pen Lou. Why the mid size instead of the full sized?
