First Kamisori style razor.

Thought I would try something a little different.
I kept the shape pretty typical for Kamisoris but went with a wedge grind instead of the typical asymmetrical grind
It's right at 6/8, cutting edge is 1.75", overall length is 6". The wood is Koa.

Very cool. How come you didn't stamp it with the "BB"?

Now I want one of these too.

I did, you just can't see well with the way the razor placed.

Yes indeed Brian. I have always been sort of meh on the Kamisori razors but this wedge looks good.

I plan to give her a test shave tonight. I took the pics after I set the bevel. I didn't want to worry about the edge while taking the pics.
I give a report as soon as the shave is completed

OK shave test done and here's the report
The shave was good but could be better. I'll take it for a few more laps on the finisher and that should be corrected.
I also test the Damascus one as well. That one seemed to be about spot on. I will test it again and make sure there isn't any edge deterioration. If she passes that I'll call her good.
