Where does one get this.. how you say... this very mystérieux shaving soap? Any local US vendors or only directly from MdC for the very beaucoup shipping?

My beret and porn-star thin moustache is ready. All I need is this soap now.

You either order direct, or have a friend or family member visiting Paris or France buy it for you. No US re-sellers as far as i know. I have asked my ex and my daughter to buy it for me this summer while they were in Paris. They found it in the main Printemps store. They will be back in two days, and i cannot wait to finally try this soap and see what all the hype is about!

Expensive stuff to try on a whim. Very expensive. (Pity, 'cos I have the whim to try it)
I note on their web site that they ship UPS only (at a high cost), but if you buy 1,000 Euros worth, then you get free shipping.

If I spent 1,000 Euros to score free shipping from a French soap maker, my wife divorcing me would be just one of my problems.

Not true. It is sold at the re-known Planet Rasoir in in Paris. I know because GF picked me up two jars.

Planete Rasoir has satellite store in some of the Printemps luxury Department Store. My ex-wife bought it from the big store in Paris. There in the basement is the men's department (Homme) and Planete Rasoir has a store within the store for shaving stuff. My ex bought me the last two jars that they had in stock. The salesman told her that they sell briskly.

There was a group buy some time ago. I bought it at that time and it is one of best soaps I have ever used.
