Default Truefitt & Hill Almond Cream

It seems this products doesn't get much speak about it on the forums.

Despite the fact that I don't like almond scented products much, I find t&h almond cream is the best almond smelling product. I tried all 3T's, mama bears almond, cella but t&h almond seems to be the one. Smells very natural, a little bit sweeter unlike other bitter scented ones, it moisturizes well, doesnt dry on your face like other t&h creams, gives a very satisfactory shave. Actually very similar to cella performance wise.

I think; this cream is the best almond smelling product I've found so far and the best t&h cream performance-wise. It will definately be in my rotation from now on.

1805, trafalgar, grafton are very popular products but I think almond cream deserves to be much more popular here on B&B.

If you havent tried yet, I highly recommend it. So guys who are used this product also, what do you think about it?

The almond sample I tried some time ago did indeed smell good. I think the fact that there are many almond products on the market, some of them very popular Italian soft soaps, makes it easy for something like the T&H almond to be overlooked. I agree that it's a great cream, but then most T&H creams are great.

I got a sample of the almond cream, and it did smell great. Also lathered up quite nice. Unfortunately the stuff also turned my face red for about ten minutes. Didn't feel irritated to speak of, but I chucked it halfway through the shave because it was disconcerting. Perhaps I should have kept it around for smelling purposes...

I've noticed that with T&H products, once you go off of the beaten path, you end up with a red face. Case in point, anything outside of 1805, Trafalgar, and Grafton. Examples: T&H Ultimate Comfort, T&H Rose.

I actually just used my sample the past couple of nights. It did indeed smell very good, kind of like old fashioned holiday cookies.... Definitely on the sweet side but not overpoweringly so.

I happen to have a tub of TOBS almond on it's way to me... might get her today actually. I know the 3Ts have different scents but I wonder if it will be similar enough that I'll still enjoy it... hope so...

YMMV. When I worked through a sampler pack from T&H I had a terribly strong reaction to the lavender cream, but everything else worked pretty well.

I think this is not t&h to blame, you have an sensitive allergic skin, thats all.

Love this cream's scent. Love it. Had a frightening allergic reaction to it with in minutes of using it. Never touched it again.

    Nut allergies maybe?

If you still have the cream and didn't PIF it you might consider leaving it open in an unseen spot as an air freshener... Or send it to me!

I think its an underrated scent, and is in my rotation. While I prefer my Grafton cream, I'm always pleasantly surprised when I do break the Almond out.

Just used some almond from a sample I had. Thought it was great.
Scent, lather, and ease of use.

I went with a jar of D.R. Harris Almond and think it is wonderful. Had a sample then saw a new jar on the BST and picked it up. I like about all of the DRH products anyway, and their almond cream scent is right there. I have T&H 1805 cream, while it is
an excellent cream, I feel DRH creams are better.

Another I forgot I had is Crema Da Barba Alla Mandorla Mondial (which is probably made By TFS) may. It's a croap but has a wonderful almond scent.
