    Default RazoRock Fresco...feedback anyone?

I recently tried RazoRock XXX. I l-o-v-e the stuff---way it smells, everything. Great shaves. It seems made for my boar brushes---Marco's method w/ a Pro 49 produces insane amounts of beautiful lather.

XXX does sting my face a bit...I'm blaming the fragrance for now.

Can anyone give me feedback on the other RazoRock creams? Fresco sounds like it might be my ticket...perhaps watermint is a little milder or more soothing than the neroli/citrus of XXX. Or is the original more soothing than XXX? Cacao?

    Any comments are appreciated...

I like Fresco better than XXX. The performance is the same, but the Fresco smells better. I think they smell very similar.

I have used cacao. It has great performance and may not be as irritating as XXX. I have not tried Fresco, but would recommend any razorock soap a try. They're relatively cheap and am sure you can sell on B/S/T if you don't like it.

fresco is definitely more lightly scented than xxx but to my nose in the same ballpark scentwise. i prefer xxx but fresco is also very good (and really inexpensive). the xxx can give me the slightest irritation because of the rather intense scent. i haven't felt anything (negative) from fresco.

I agree that Fresco has a similar but milder scent than XXX. I prefer Fresco to XXX but they are both great. Check that, all four of the soft soaps are a heck of a deal.

I have XXX, Fresco and the original Razorock. I find the scents quite different when lathered and much prefer XXX. Fresco smells like mint toothpaste to me.
The lathering performance is quite similar and they are probably the easiest lathering creams I've come across and I'm happy with all of them. It may just be my imagination, but I find that XXX does slightly better softening my whiskers and leaves my skin feeling a little more moisturized.
The ingredients list for XXX is much longer than Fresco and there could be a few potential causes of irritation. XXX contains watermint also but I doubt that would be the cause of irritation. Apparently Fresco, Cacao and the original Razorock are closer to each other in terms of composition than to XXX.

Thanks to you all---great stuff---just what I was looking for. Yes...this stuff with a nice boar is ridiculously easy to lather. XXX also seems to make getting a comfortable, moisturized shave easy, too. One reason why I love it so.

Well...I guess its time to try 'em all! And...the nice thing is...I can buy 3 for under $20.
