What's new

i found a proper proper tobbaccoinist

well yesterday i was on a one day holiday with my wife and kids in belfast about 2hours drive from where i live in Dublin. before going there i did a litte research on spots to buy pipe tobac to find somthing diffrent . one name came up again and again so i went there. its called miss morans and its great
big jars of "house blends"
loads of diffrent pipes from under £16 to over £100 briar,meershim,clay...
hundrids of cigars both indivduall and in boxes
loads of tins and packs of tobacco.

i picked up a pack of a blend similar i was told to captin black (as you cant find it here in ireland ) called seven seas gold blend and i got it for under €8 for 40g compared to €17 for 50g in petersons and its very very nice.

petersons and foxes are good but this place was in a completely diffrent animal.

thanks guys it was a good day. i love shops with personality and history.

django i do find them expensive i however did find the man in petersons helpfull the only time i was there. do you know of any other shops in dublin worth visiting?

There's also a cigar shop on the other end of Grafton street (near St. Stephens), but don't know if they carry pipes and stuff.
