Triple milled soap, good for shaving?

I read somewhere on B and B that triple milled soap would make good shaving soap,

so I gave it a try two times. It worked OK for me. I had a very small bar of this soap.

French milled soap: I also have a small bar of this. I will try this the next time.

Does anyone have any thoughts on these two types of soap?

Just because a soap is triple milled doesn't mean it will be usable as a shaving soap. It is best to stick with shaving soaps for shaving. Triple milled shaving soaps are good soaps but some prefer non triple milled shaving soaps - personal preference.

+1 Make sure it's a shaving soap.

Unless pressed, I wouldn't use a normal soap for shaving- triple milled or not. The formulation for shaving soaps is much different than hand soap.

Triple Milling is a part of the manufacturing process for soap, not a description of the soap itself.
