  1. Default Shaving soap identification

OK gentlemen, now is the time to have some fun with this one! I bought a number of shaving soaps about a year ago and have each one of them in separate mugs. Unfortunately, during some home renovations, the paperwork for these purchases (through the internet) was misplaced and now, I have several fine smelling and shaving soaps with no names for replacement!!!

I'm not going to even attempt fragrance description rather state that the color of this fine soap is aquamarine....a very light green with a tinge of blue. Anyone wish to take a guess and, just POSSIBLY by chance, I may remember the name? Otherwise, go at it and have some fun, I can handle it... Thanks for either you identification or, creatve responses.....

Classic Shaving Tannenbaum Pine? Does it look more like a glycerine than a tallow soap?

It does look more like a glycerinethan a tallow and the Palmolive sop in this picture is the right color.....
I ordered from several vendors so tracking them down difficult if not impossible I'm afraid but great suggestion!
I have an empty box by Edwin Jagger labeled "Sea Buckthorn"....is this soap the aquamarine color my soap sems to be?

The Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn soap is white.

Is it possibly a Palmolive shave stick you may have milled into a mug?

No, the soap I placed into my one mug was a hockey puck in shape....shucks on the Buckthorn though, thought I may have had it...

None of these sounds familiar I'm sorry to say. A picture might help but with my point and shoot camera, I can't seem to get any shots wrth a dang unfortunately... By color (thanks to those who posted som pics) it appears to be identical to the Palmolive...
Continued thanks to all those who have responded....

No...I don't believe that was the name either.....

I am embarassed that there has been so much response and yet I don't seem to have been very helpful in giving an affirmative to any of the guesses...

Let me try a variation.....If I were to send a piece of the soap to an "expert", mightb that give the definative answer?

I'll try to reopen this ID thread....I'd be willing to send a piece of the mysterious soap to some kind "expert" for positive identification.....and more than willing to post a picture here---if someone would be so kind as to povide me some "directions" for the posting methodology.....thanks!

Classic Shave, Classic Brand, What the Puck, premium shaving soap. Really you can't make this stuff up. Due to the secrecy of my mission camera's aren't allowed or I would take a picture for you.

Palmolive stick was my guess. or maybe a weird frankensoap where you shredded a Wilkenson sword stick and a Lightfoots?

Glad I've provided all with some fun today--guess things have been somewhat slow for you so far.

As I said, I'd take a pic but could use tech advice on posting.

    Cheers all!
