once rescued a lost kitten from under a news stand.. it was the size of a closed fist. it lives with the ex now.
younger brother once rescued a 'nest' of a stray dog in a national park he was doing some research that flooded! it was practically a hole in the floor filled with 2 day old puppies, and water. after they let go of the milk he adopted one. the dog run away some 6yr later.
don't count me in the contest, i do not believe that giving money for charity is 'right' under my values. also, just got a pair of leather strops, still have lots of knicking to do before i need new ones :)
BIll, Any chance I can buy a less-decorated handle like that? 2.5" in width

The strop arrived today and is making its maiden voyage tomorrow. Bill's attention to detail is amazing, the strop is a work of art. So forgive me a few more pictures.

Noone told me about all the extra prizes. I'm getting all sort of things... Best Friends magazine subscription. Phone calls thanking me for the donation. Nice emails with pretty animal pictures. You'd think I had a pet or something.
Pet rock's more my speed.
