Blade Gap variances in the same razor, what is acceptable?

Should both sides of the razor be the exact same? When will the shave be noticeably different? I ask because I finally scored a birthyear razor off the bay. She looks great but after loading a blade it looked kinda off. After using a feeler gauge with the SA set on 1 one side measures 14 the other 10. Am I just being too anal? Just to clarify, the difference is on different cutting edges not on the same.
