What's new

My collection

As I ordered my TWSBI's 540 in M and F today, I thought it was a nice excuse to take some pictures of my small collection.

So here they are:

* Parker Duofold LE Cloisonné in mandarin yellow, a rare pen in a beautiful color
* Parker Duofold, Centennial, in orange
* Parker Duofold, Centennial, in citrine

* Pelikan Souverän M1000 in black, a big and excellent writer
* Pelikan Souverän M800 in black / green, the prototypical Pelikan, no small pen either

* Parker 51, a true classic
* Soennecken 222 in green

* Montblanc Meisterstuck Le Grand #149, the largest Meisterstuck with gold trim
* Montblanc (not yet identified)

If someone could identify the last Montblanc, that would be nice!

Beautiful collection, something anyone would be proud to own!

I love that Soennecken 222

The second MB might be a 70's era.
Look closely around the gold band at the bottom of the cap. Is there a number?
It looks very similar to my 320.

Indeed, there is!
How could I miss that?

It's a model 32.
It's a piston filler from the 60s apparently.

Very Nice Collection. One correction on the MB 149 (the largest Meisterstück). It is not called the Le Grand. That is the name of the MB 146.

+1, the 149 is called the Diplomat. So, which nib did you get with the Diplomat?

I think the Meisterstuck has a M nib, but I have to look that up.
The only F nibs as far as I know are the orange Duofold, the No. 32 Montblanc and the Soennecken.

The vintage Montblanc pens from the 60's and 70's do not use precious resin in certain models. I don't know enough about the history of precious resin, but these pens are made of plastic.
They are very nice pens, and you'll notice that the nibs are quite flexible.
Be careful with opening the barrel of the pen. The plastic is thin and can crack quite easily.
