Hello-
For black epoxy, I add two drops of Testors model car paint (Gloss Black) to the epoxy as I mix it. Works fine. I've done three with no problems at all.

I buy my flitz online. I haven't found it at any stores. But I haven't looked recently either.
I've never done a C40, but I imagine it's a 20mm. I'd get it out before ordering a new one.

The handle looks just like a 150 which also takes a 20mm knot.
