Getting ready to try restoring an Ever-Ready C40 What size knot?

For any of you that have restored this particular model before, which knot size did you use? Thinking about going Super Badger on this one. Also, where do you veteran brush restorers get Flitz and black epoxy?

Hello-

For black epoxy, I add two drops of Testors model car paint (Gloss Black) to the epoxy as I mix it. Works fine. I've done three with no problems at all.

I buy my flitz online. I haven't found it at any stores. But I haven't looked recently either.

I've never done a C40, but I imagine it's a 20mm. I'd get it out before ordering a new one.

The handle looks just like a 150 which also takes a 20mm knot.
