Default 1979 Z1 Gillette birth razor

...I found one that appears to be in mint condition. No chips in the black on the handle, looks like it's been cleaned up very nicely. It's not being sold on B&B, so I would like to ask, does $15 sound reasonable for an item like this? (Sorry...never bought a vintage razor before.)

Assuming it's a black-handled Superspeed, I'd say it's reasonable. Maybe not a steal of a deal, but *I'd* pay it for a mint birth-quarter razor and not lose any sleep. Congrats on the find!

Looks right to me. Nice finish. I'd put it in the collection.

I am super pumped. I got my Colonel X2L in the mail yesterday. Lathers like a champ. Awaiting my G5 scuttle and now, this 1979 Z1 SS. (purchased.)

In that condition I'd pay $15 without hesitation for a birth year SS. Nice find!

    Your asking price is reasonable.
