Razor replating services ?

Gents I was thinking about having my 69 slim replated due to some minor plate loss. Who do you gents recommend/use for your razor services ?

Theres a few threads recently on the subject, do a search I'm sure they will pop up....

I've read good things about Razor Emporium on some shaving blogs, but as I understand it they don't have the best reputation around B&B.

My experience with Razor Emporium has been entirely positive. Their products and processes are excellent, and their communication is prompt, clear and businesslike. Prices are a function of the market.

There are probably good local plating services available in every industrial area in the country. (Ask car guys where they get their plating done.) I have used a place called Normandy Plating here in Pasadena, CA with good results. They do metal polishing and refinishing. I have had razors plated in both gold and nickel plate, and for the money, nickel is superior for daily use. It shines brighter than chrome, and is very durable.

Yep must agree with T-Dog here, check out your local plating companies that do cars Bikes and such.
