I enjoy getting gifts at Christmas (who doesnt). But for me, the real fun of Christmas is finding just the right thing for my family, and then seeing their reaction when they open it up. The anticipation of waiting to know that I did a good job is very exciting for me. That is what this game is all about.
So if you like giving gifts, then this PIF is for you. You will be sending a PIF to a person on the list. The person getting the PIF has no clue what it is or who it's from (do your best to hide your identity on the package). You will, in turn, be receiving a PIF from someone else on the list. Its just like Secret Santa.
There are no rules to what you send (just keep it legal). No minimums or price limits, can be shaving related or not, send whatever you like. Just have fun and put together a gift you think your recipient will enjoy. In previous rounds, most people have done a little bit of research (cough, stalking) to see what their recipient might want or need to add to the excitement.
Rules (Ensure you agree to them before signing up)
1) Post your intention to be included and add your name to the participant list. The list will stay open for one week, or until we get 25 participants. (Which ever happens first)
2) After you sign up, PM me with your real name, address, email address and phone number.
3) Once the list is finalized (on or about 8 August), I will match you up (via Random.org) and will PM you with your recipients address.
4) Gifts must be shipped during the month of August. This will allow plenty of time to receive anything you might order, and send it back out, and keep the PIF timeline condensed.
5) When you ship, you must PM me the tracking number for your package.
6) When you receive your PIF, you must take pictures of what you received and post them in this thread. Tell everyone about your gifts and if your sender did a good job.
7) This should go without saying, but no whining. This is all in good fun. Some people will give more than others. Give what your feel comfortable giving and enjoy the ride.
