    Default Rose & Co. Shaving Bowl

    Has anyone used this stuff?

    Obviously the bulk of the cost id for the ceramic pot (which does look great) but I'd heard that Kent soap contained lanolin/woolfat and Kentbrushes are selling the wooden bowl on ebay for £5:

    Is this essentially the same soap?

    Sure is!

    A few of us bought the Kent soap with wooden bowls from E-Bay.

    It's fine soap, but a little dried out. Just needs some "quiet time" with hot water to be a very nice shave!

    I've just ordered the £5 bowl from Ebay. I'll hang on a bit longer for the Rose soap.
