    Default Merkur "Matte Chrome" 38m HD vs Matte Chrome Futur/Vision... Same finish?

    Yes, this is a question from a style-conscious nerd.

    Can anyone tell me if the matte chrome finish of the long handled HD (38m HD) is identical to the matte chrome finish of the Futur or Vision, and by extension, the matte chrome finishes on the Merkur brushes and stand?

    I don't know, but Superior Shave carries the Futur and the 38M. No doubt they can answer your question.
