Feather Popular PIF for Newbies

All right, here it is gents.

This Feather Popular safety razor was a PIF to me when I just started out a couple months ago. I was a complete newbie and it was my first DE razor. As such, I need to keep this razor going to newbies.

So, the stipulations:

*Must live in the CONUS
*When you post, tell a little about why you're interested in making the switch to wetshaving.
*This would need to be your first DE razor.
*Post by Monday, July 25, 5:00PM CDT

I'll take the entries to random.org based off your post number.

As you can see below, I'll also send 4 blades along with it: Shark Chrome, Shark Stainless, Feather, and Gillette 7 o'clock blue.

It's a fairly aggressive razor (IMO), which has its pros and cons. I think it was helpful because it really made me concentrate on my technique. Of course, if you're not super careful, it could get ya. But I never had a true cut on my face with it.

So, there it is. All newbies interested, post away!

Come on newbies! This is an excellent (and very generous) way to get started. I would put my name in, but I have been wet shaving for years, and recently converted to a DE back in April/May. Good luck to whom ever wins.

I'm not sure if I really qualify. I've been wetshaving for a while now with straights. I'm interested in trying a DE for those days when I'm rushed or a bit "off my game".

I wish I qualified for this one. I started up maybe 3 weeks ago, and I've been using an old Gillette Tech - but have been dying to try something more aggressive ever since my first shave. I've moved to wetshaving in order to beat back the ingrown hairs that plague my family, and so far it's been smooth sailing!

Hopefully your razor will go to someone who's been as frustrated as I was before I got into this! Thanks for passing along the love. Once I have a good collection (RAD is already kicking in, haha) I'll do the same.

This will make a fine addition for someone getting into DE shaving. I recently bought one and am really liking it.

If you don't qualify as a newbie then your girl friend or wife can participate and use it to shave legs or where ever that needs shaving. Great start to get her to introduce to DE shaving and maybe support (condone) your indiscriminate shaving item purchases.

Well, this didn't turn out as hoped. No newbies, or at least ones that qualified, entered this PIF. So, I will be re-posting this PIF with different rules.
