I must have a collection worth $16000 or so downstairs. And here I thought I only had about a grand sank into this hobby.

I'm surprised too because there was no shelf liner in the pictures.

My guess is someone or somone's wanted a Blue Tip birth year.

On a serious note, can you imagine being the seller on this auction? Especially if he knows vintage razor values and didn't expect to take in more than, say $18 - $20 on this? That's certainly all I would've paid for it.

but its got a BLUE TIP on it and its all shiny and andand .....yes they have gone round the bend AND felloff the deep end too,no you are not losing it just dont pay that much,.and did you notice the $10 blue tip's above it??

Wow! Guess that empty Blue Tip case I picked up for $5 at an antique store was a steal.

I bought some shelf liner and I might unload a Fatboy if the fish are biting like that!

That's what my guess would be. Definitely a bidding war was going on.

I think at those prices , I will be able to retire on my collection then. what a comfort knowing this ebay is the place to sell
