Well, a Nibs Forum eh - on a Shaving Site?
Not as strange as Mr or Mrs (out there) would think. I love fine writing instruments and fine shaving instruments and it seems that a lot of you guys do to. I also love a good timepiece too.
Vintage pens I have are:
Parker Lucky Curve Duofolds, Junior and Senior - Pearl and Black, Jade Green, Big Red, Black etc.
Conway Stewart - 58 etc
Onoto Modern and Vintage - I sold my Onoto Magna a little while ago for £800, it bought me a lot of vintage razors and I just wasn't using it.
As for the Duofold Lucky Curves, I find the Juniors are great practical writers but the Seniors are hopeless - they blot, ink pours into the cap when stored etc - I've tried fitting modern feeds, adjusting etc to mo avail.
The main reason I use a Fountain Pen is because I'm left-handed and a teacher once said 'Left Handed eh? You'll never write with a Fountain Pen' - now there was a challenge!
I now have around 50 vintage and modern Fountain Pens.
