Do you apply alcohol based aftershaves to your face when it's completely dry or slightly damp?

Don't be afraid to experiment. Try it both ways, and see which you prefer.
i like to apply aftershaves on a slightly damp. it allows me to apply it more easily IMO. yeah it dilutes a bit, but that's ok for me.
I prefer to wipe the excess water off of my face with my hand (not a towel), then apply AS onto my face while it is still slightly wet.
My routine as well.
I dry my face but, as posted above, it's all about what works for you. Try both ways and decide for yourself. There's a reason why you see "YMMV" so much around here.
I do both (but not at the same time!) like 70:30 for damp vs. dry. Depends on the season/AS.
I tend to do it after I dry my face unless I am in a hurry, plus I found the burn a little milder if my face was wet.

+1. Either way is fine. Try it both ways and see what you like. It is all about personal preference.
