Cool Long time Lurker, first time poster....

Checking in for the first time here....

My current gear is a recently purchased Merkur 38c HD with Feather Blades. Using a AOS silvertip badger with D.R. Harris Marlborough shaving soap and aftershave.

Did lots of youtube watching for different techniques. I was little intimidated by what I was reading about the Feathers but I figured just "rip off the bandaid" so to speak. Had a few nicks initially. After getting past the first couple of weeks of letting my neck hair repair itself from years of cartridge shaving, I'm now convinced the Feather blades provide the closest shave possible. The difference between a cartridge shave and a DE shave is astounding. My shave is now tighter than 2 coats of paint!

    Happy to be here!

    Cyanide Jenkins.

Welcome! Feathers do indeed give a wonderful shave. It is my favorite blade at the moment.

Welcome 2 B&B! Feathers just came up in my sampler pack rotation. Man they are sharp! Been through the first bade and and now on my second, about 6 shaves total so far. I think the feathers may be a little to aggressive for me.

    Welcome,

I use feathers in my mule (muhle r89). I find them to be a great blade. Not many shaves per blade though.
