Hey Chaps,
Thought a couple of you might be interested in this...
I did a little bit of woodworking in high school, but my main focus was always on steel - so this is kind of new to me.
Last year i embarked on a project which had the goal of building a dolls house for my daughter's 2nd birthday.

I was fairly happy with it - lets face it, i'll never be 100% happy with it...
But, it's hers, i built it for her, its solid as a rock and i hope it'll last for a few years.
So, with the birth of my first Nephew, i've decided to build him what i would have build for Maddie. Had she been born a boy
The Aussie guys might know what it is, the international guys may not.
I'm buidling him a rocking horse - in the Shape of the Bottle-O FG Falcon race car as driven by Paul Dumbrell.
Should be about 1200 long, 500 high and 500 wide when all is said and done.
I'm hoping to make it rock both ways and all going well, i'll use a little gell cell battery to run some lights and sound effects with a brake and accellerator.
Pics located here - i'll keep updating this if there is any interest...

Only just got a start on it today, will wait for pay day before buying another couple of sticks to work with.
I've allowed $300-$400 to do it, i hope i'm better with estimation this time around, i allowed the same for the dolls house - got that faaaaairrrrllllyy wrong...
