Some New Stuff

Hi Guys

With the postal strike over I've been getting a few of my purchases in. The group pic is 2 1947 Aristocrats, a 1934 Aristocrat, A Parker style head from TGN with a Cooncat handle and a 1955 President A1. The 34 'Crat was pretty grotty when it arrived so I did the hot water & Dawn thing which took off the razor head lacquer. Hmmm, so I polished the case with chrome polish and it did a very good job. I then picked up some clear indoor/outdoor spray from Home Depot and did the case and razor head. Not bad results. The 2 47s needed minor cleaning. The handle from Bob is a beauty. It's a flair end but I took the bottom flair off and I like the weight better. I'll post the rest of the pics next

I really like the Aristocrat's, have you shaved with one yet? I would love to hear how they go.

Here's the President, I believe it's a 55 with the code A1. The next razor is a Cooper. I like this one but when I dropped a Feather in, I got a solid case of burn and irritation. So the same blade went into the President and the next shave was a 2 pass with no burn etc. The Pres is a nice razor, I'll try a couple of diff blades with the Cooper and see if anything improves. More stuff is on the way.

Give the Cooper another run with a different blade. My Cooper with a Personna med prep is heaven for me. Nice loot!

Nice razors!! I've been on ebay trying to get some Aristocrats but keep getting outbid, very annoying...

The President is a very nice shaver and I'll be getting to the 'Crats soon. The Cooper is not that high on my repeat list, but I still like the looks of it
