Anyone ever crack a brush handle by accidentaly banging it against your bowl?

I use a ceramic shave bowl and smacked my Simpsons Colonel HARD against it and wondered...has anyone ever cracked a handle this way?

I've done and wondered the same thing. Fortunately no cracks.

Ive dropped an Edwin Jaeger in the bowl and snapped off a bit of the imitation ivory handle. Stuck it back with superglue, but there's still a bit missing. Annoying !!

I think the bowl will break before the handle.

How hard are you lathering that you are whacking the bowl with the brush?? A little tapping or clanking perhaps, but hitting it HARD?

that clanking annoys me, (I used a little mug...) but now I face lather, which i've fallen in love with.

My dad cracked his Trumper relabeled Duke 3 in Best by accidentally banging it on the sink while shaking it out. Too bad, but some crazy glue kept the crack from spreading.
