Last week I switched from a cartridge razor and canned shaving gel to a double-edge and shaving soap. It is certainly a very different experience... so different, in fact, that I essentially need to learn to shave all over again. And yet, now I look forward to shaving in the morning...
Razor: A Merkur something-or-other. It was my grandfather's, so I don't know what model it is. The handle is about as long as my thumb.
Blades: Some generic brand I found at K-Mart.
Brush: Tweezerman badger brush.
Soap: Colonel Conk Glycerin Shave Soap
