Person Barbers

There have been a few threads about comparison of the Labs, Meds, and Barbers in the last couple of weeks. I'm in the midle of my own testing now. Had just about decided to bin the remaining Barbers, since the shaves with my EJ89 and Merkur 38C were pretty rough. Since I hate waste, just for grins I put one in a 1956 Flare tip. Second day today and just as smooth as the Lab in the other razors.

So before you give up on any blade, be sure to try it in a diferent razor. It still amazes me sometimes how different it can be, and for me at least, it really is about the combination, not just which blade is best.

Interesting. I find the Barbers loaded in an EJ89 to be smooth as silk. I also have a Flare tip...I need to try that combination out as well. The way these things go I'll probably hate it :)

It still fascinates me that there can be so much variation. That's why I contiue to try different combos, even when I have one that works well.
