Default Ever-Ready 100: My Second Restoration

This is my second restoration. I won this one off of the Bay. I replaced the knot with a 22mm Finest Short Loft. Sanded with 600, 1000, and 1500 grit. Testors paint for the lettering. No weight modifications.

great job ! beautiful color combo, and that knot looks like it was created just for that handle...how you get the lettering so even and perfect is a real mystery

@malocchio: I wish that it was the sign of a truly talented artist. In reality, all that you need to do is cover the letters with paint, allow it to dry, then sand it off (assuming the letters are still semi-deep). The paint stays inside of the letters, and the excess is removed. Rather easy actually. But shhhhh, that can be our secret.

Yeah, really nice work and I was also going to ask how you did the lettering.

@sir swine: I purchased the Testors model paint at a hobby shop.

As you will notice, the bottom portion of the second letter "a" in "guaranteed" is missing. That portion of the letter was not very deep to begin with, so it was not possible to fill it in with paint.

I tried a MMOC once. I've sinced switched to straight razor shaving because it was less dangerous.

    Awesome Brush and great work.

Although I may not be additted yet and (I think I'm holding up rather well against this Vintage Ever-Ready Brush disorder [especially the
2 tone color scheme knockouts]), but "Resistance is futile".
