It's most definitely not, I think some ignorant sellers just copy "terminology" that they see in other item sales thinking it's right. It might be a good idea to send a polite message to the seller indicating the error and leave it at that. I try not to blame the seller in most cases, most folks do not know much about what they are selling and are just picking up terms from what they see.
Always keep in mind while buying on ebay: buyer beware, do your research and don't always trust the descriptions or pictures. Some times you get better than expected from ebay, and sometimes worse. I just try to keep that in mind so I don't get disappointed when it doesn't look as good as I thought.

Forget 'shave ready'.....I'd put a question mark on 'shave capable'....
Looks like it needs some serious tlc.

wondering the same thing. can it be brought back?
5 out of 4 people have trouble with fractions. :(
If I got that in the post it'd more than likely go straight in the bin. It may be salvagable but I'd be surprised if the effort to get it there would be worth it.

It has so much pitting it looks like a sponge if you zoom in.

I can see a new ad in reference to the pitting.....
Shave ready and mint, with a unique pitting structure that is designed to hold extra lather for that super smooth shave.
