  1. Default Put Arko soap in Twist Up Stick

Hey everyone! Since I started DE shaving I am using a Arko Soap stick.
But the one thing I dislike about it is the simple paper wrap packaging. The paper gets wet and the soap may dry out because you can't seal it.

Today I came across this topic:
    http://www.theshaveden.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20135

It's a simple tip/tutorial to solve that problem. Put the Arko soap in an empty Twist Up Stick which you can order from the Mama Bear Soaps website for only $1,75.

I don't know if someone else mentioned this before, but I didn't want you guys to miss it. Of course you can use it for all types of shaving soap, not just Arko.

When I receive my Twist Up Sticks I will post a short review on how well it works...

I use the round push-up deodorant sticks, but mostly to turn pucks into sticks. By the way you may not want to seal up that soap too tightly: most commercial soap stick packages have built-in ventilation so that the soap can dry out.

It's said already but yeah, soaps are supposed to dry out, it will not harm then in any way. Leaving them wet will.

I put my Arko into a Tabac stick container. Grated the Tabac into a mug. I've also reused a D.R. Harris stick container this way, but it doesn't hold as much.

Brother, just tear half the wrapper off and rub on your face. Mine has been sitting open for roughly 6 months and the last 2 weeks I have been using it every day after not using it for about 4 monthes and it works fine. Look ma, No Tube!!
