There's a very special fountain pen that I've got my eye on and...it's expensive. I'm hoping to unload some stuff in an effort to help pay for the pen. All prices include CONUS shipping. 2. Ralph Lauren Safari shave soap

I bought this puck in the group buy a few months ago and have only used it five times since. There's nothing wrong with it, I just prefer my AoS Sandalwood. It comes in an amber-colored plastic container with a screw on lid. $12.00 for this puck of discontinued tallow goodness. SOLD

3. Old Spice shave soap

Here's a NOS puck of Old Spice shave soap. Not much more to say about it! It's one of the larger 3.75 ounce pucks. It's sealed in the plastic and the box is in pretty good shape as well. I'd like to get $25.00 for this. SOLD


4. Williams shave stick

Up next is a rare stick of Williams shave soap in a plastic container. This on of the the rose-scented sticks. I was (pleasantly) surprised to find that the rose scent is still there! The stick appears to be unused or very close to it. I have not used it myself. This stuff is from the Glastonbury era of the company. $30.00 gets it.



5. Honcho by Shulton aftershave splash

This is something that I had never heard of before I tracked it down. It's called "Honcho" and it's one of the few other scents that Shulton produced in addition to Old Spice. It's a 3 ounce bottle that looks to be around 80% full. I'm hoping to sell this for 10.00.




6. Gillette Slim

Here's a user grade Slim. I'm calling it "user grade" due to the obvious spot on the handle and a few not-so-obvious spots near the head of the razor that I did my best to photograph. I'm asking $20.00 for this. SOLD

6. GEM Open Comb Micromatic x2

7. Le Grelot Hospital

I bought this razor a few months ago and have done nothing with it other than put it in one of those oiled razor pouches from The Superior Shave. It has never been sharpened. I paid $75.00 for it, so I'll be asking the same. $75.00 gets this razor shipped in the oiled pouch in addition to the original pouch with papers. SOLD

8. Landers, Frary & Clark "Universal Changeable Blades" straight razor

Here is a piece that took some hunting to track down. Now that I have it, I've realized I'm probably never going to use it. The blade is 6/8th and, while interchangeable, I don't have any "extra" blades for it. I've cleaned it up some, but I haven't done too much heavy cleaning because the blade is very thin (I didn't want to break it!) and I was interested in preserving it in the state I received it. The scales are a very convincing faux ivory--I thought it was genuine up until I did the hot pin test.

From the research I've done, this particular model is quite rare in the condition that it's in. Standard Guide to Razors appraises it at being worth $105.00. While that's good and well, I understand that someone might buy this without the intention of keeping it in a museum or personal collection. With that in mind, I want to ask $50.00 for it. It pains me to let it go, but I'd like to see it in the hands of someone who can appreciate it just as much as I have.

9. Unrestored straight razor lot PENDING

Here's a lot of four razors in unrestored condition. One of a Sheffield wedge simply labeled "Sheffield Cast Steel." The scales are dyed horn. The blade itself it in kind of rough shape, but a bit of grinding will set it straight. There's a J. Engstrom (the one with faux ivory scales) that is kind of beat up as well. There is some rust on the blade and light chipping on the edge. Again, nothing a low grit hone can't fix. The smallest blade is a "Blue Steel" in horn scales. There is nothing wrong with the edge. The black-scaled razor is a Wade & Butcher that measures around 9/16ths. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the blade or edge of this razor. The W&B and Engstrom razors come in boxes; the other two do not. I'm going to ask $50.00 for this lot--just over twelve dollars per razor.
