Straight razor addition:

George Wostenholm & Son's Celebrated 7/8 Wedge (newly restored)

Razor is newly restored and it is in very good to excellent condition.

There are some minor pitting marks left but no near the edge. Edge is healthy and clean.
Tang is marked with: "Wostenholm & Son's, Celebrated razor, Warranted, 2565".
Scales are made from African Blackwood tightened with brass pin on the wedge side and microfastener on the pivot side.
Pivot hole is reduced to 1,6 mm with tubes so there is no way that pin can be bended inside the hole.
Razor comes shave ready honed on Coticule and finished on Ozuku Kiita stone, stroped and protected with Camelia Oil.
Provided box is not original.

Straight razor addition:

Solingen Modell Paris #42 4/8 Full Hollow straight razor. The blade is cleaned and very nice satin finished. The scales are polished with excellent lustre as new ones (three pins ones). The blade is marked “Modell Paris 42″ one side of the tang and “Finest Silver Steel, Forged and Real Hollow Ground in Germany”. on the other side. Grip serrations are on both sides of the tang. Razor comes shave ready, honed on Naniwa SSs and finished on Oozuku Kiita and Oozuku Asagi stones, protected with Camelia oil, and stroped on Scrupleworks strop.

Straight razor addition:

5/8 “Cat Razor” Full Hollow Made in N. Korea Straight Razor. Razor is fully restored. Blade is mirror polished and free of nicks, rust and pitting. Scales are made from Cocobolo with Gabon Ebony Wedge. There is “file work” on the spine. Grip serrations are on the lower part of the tang. On the wedge side there is brass pin with bras washers and on pivot side is brass microfastener with brass washers. Razor is shave ready honed on Naniwa SS and finished on Oozuku Kiita and Oozuku Asagi stone, stroped on Scrupleworks strop.
The meaning of the tang marks:


“면도칼” literally means “razor”
“고양이표” which means “cat symbol”

I was little bit sceptical at first on this one if we take into account country of origin so I did few test shaves and all I can say that razor is very smooth shaver while holds an edge excellent.

For sale is Wade & Butcher 13/16 Hollow Ground straight razor with custom made Gabon Ebony scales with natural Mother of Pearl inlays. Scales are shaped and sized as original ones.
I can say that overall razor condition is excellent, very nice showing piece.
Blade is highly polished without pitting and rust. Pins are nickel-silver with SS washers and original lead wedge is mounted.
Razor comes shave ready honed on Naniwa SSs and finished on OOzuku Kiita and OOzuku Asagi stones stropped on Kanayama Strop.

Straight razor addition:

Newly restored Ruyte "E. Wilde, Central Stores, Port Talbot" 9/16 Full Hollow straight razor.
Blade is very nice satin finished. It has left just few minor pitting spots but no one is near the cutting edge, so no one afect blade performences.
On the blade is engraved "E. Wilde, Central Stores, Port Talbot" and there are grip serrations on both sides of the tang.
Scales are made from Camel Bone (dommed and mirror shine polished) pinned with brass pin on the wedge side and microfastener on the pivot side. Wedge is made from Gabon Ebony.
Razor comes shave ready honed on Naniwa SSs and finished on Oozuku Kiita and Oozuku Asagi stones, stroped and oil protected.

Straight razor addition:

For sale is newly restored Wade & Butcher 6/8 Full Hollow straight razor (it seems this one is bellied hollow). Blade is miror polished. It has left just few minor pitting marks but no one is near the cutting edge, so no one afect blade performences. There is almost no hone wear on this one. The tang is barely merked with Wade & Butcher logo as can be seen on the photo (the markings are not fade during restoration. It seems that markings was factory made this way). Scales are made from Desert Ironwood Burl Bookmatched wood (original size and shape remain) pinned with nickel-silver pin on the wedge side and microfastener on the pivot side. Double SS washers are on both sides. Wedge is made from black buffalo horn. Razor comes shave ready honed on Naniwa SSs and finished on Oozuku Kiita and Oozuku Asagi stones, stroped and oil protected.

The thickeness of Coticule side vary from 8-11 mm and it is glued to black slate.

Straight razor addition:

For sale is newly restored Beau Brummel #35 5/8 Full Hollow straight razor with New Zealand Laminated Paua Shell scales.
Note: the scales are made from real (natural) stuff not a cheap acrylic replacement.
The blade is highly mirror polished and original tang/monkey tail blueish is relatively well preserved. There is just few minor blemishes on the back side of the blade but nothing big-nothing to be worried about.
Tang is factory hammered and marked with Beau Brummel logo and #35 on the front side and Brummel-Werk, Solingen-Germany on the back side.
Wedge is made from camel bone and all is peened with silver-nickel pins with SS washers.
Razor comes shave ready-honed on Naniwa SS progression and finished on Oozuku Kiita and Oozuku Asagi stones, stropped and oil protected.

Jacues Lecoultre au Sentier No1 Frameback

Razor is newly restored. Scales are made from Gabon Ebony with Camel Bone wedge between them. I keep original shape and size as on original ones and all together is peened with nickel-silver pins. Blade and frame are completely polished - few blemish spots left on back side of the blade but nothing serious that can affect performances and no one near the cutting edge. Blade is perfectly centered between scales and stays tight in the frame. Razor comes shave ready - honed on Naniwa SS and finished on Ozuku Kiita and Ozuku Asagi stones, stroped and oil protected.
