C@E Sandalwood cream

I picked up a tub of C@E Sandalwood cream at the local soap shop this weekend. I don't know what Sandalwood is supposed to smell like but to me this cream smells like their Nomad scent cut with baby powder. It's a nice scent but that's what it smells like to me.

Nomad was my first good shaving cream and I've forgotten how nice C@E creams are. I had a nice shave this morning with the Sandalwood. Tomorrow though I think I'll hit the Arlington puck.

C&E Nomad was my first cream when I started wet shaving. My second was the Sandalwood. I find I rarely use either one now. I do like the scent of both, but neither compares to Sienna, which I still use both soap and cream. That being said, I also believe the Sienna performs better than the Sandalwood, and about the same as Nomad. Unfortunately, I never got to use the almond, which was supposedly the best of all.

I tried to get some Sienna cream and the sales person said it was no longer made. Checking the C@E website they only list the Nomad cream in the tube and the Sandalwood in the glass jar. Bummer. I really wanted to try Sienna.
