no no no, you're going to do a comparison of both and then sell the one you don't like. at least that's how i'm justifying my purchases!

Yes, make sure to like the Omega so you can sell me the Wee Scot so then I can have both!
EDIT: Just gave the Omega 21047 a shot with some Bluebeards, and I'm blown away! Super nice size and feel. I think I may be trying the O-Ring trick to make the handle feel a bit bigger. Overall, a very nice brush that is a pleasure to use, of course time will tell, but initial impressions are strong!!

Love it. Anyone got a pic of the travel tube it comes with?

With a few items for scale.
It's a nice, cheap tube. I'll certainly be using it, and it seems to fit a shave stick, or my other brush, a Commodore X2, quite nicely.
I may get in touch with Omega and try to score an extra 1 or 2.
    PS 100 posts! : )

Well, this seems to fit the bill nicely. Once you start lathering, it certainly performs like a bigger brush. I'm quite please with it thus far. I should of used a cream that I'm more familiar with so I could compare it. Either this brush does a fantastic job, or bluebeards is genuinely magical. I'll lather up some bluebeards later with the commodore, and some prarosa or ogallala or something with the omega for comparison ;)

Got them both today. First I opened the mighty midget. The Might Midget is small, I wasn't expecting a brush this small. It sure looks nice I can't wait to lather it up. Then, I opened the Wee Scot. I'm amazed by the size of the wee scot. It is tiny in comparison to the midget. I've seen claims of it holding enough lather for 2 plus passes. By the looks of it I can't imagine it holding enough to do above my lip? Luckily I haven't shaved today so I will get to play with my new brushes. Btw, Westcoast's shipping was super quick again, and the Free shipping is a great touch. Now, off to play with my micro brushes.

Wow! I just whipped up some Mother Bear's to break in the Mighty one. This little thing is fantastic! For some reason I have had trouble with MB, but not with this little beauty! Color me impressed!

Tried the Midget today. It was pretty good, the brush is going right into the rotation. I did find it just a bit scritchy. Hopefully that will go away once it breaks in. This little brush gives a big lather especially for the price.

I noticed it felt very scritchy, but gave it a proper break in and i noticed a difference, and after a few shaves with it, I'm noticing it's complying a bit more already. I seem to be running out of lather by the third pass, (fourth if you count the kyle's prep...) but i may just need to use a bit more product. I tried some trumpers today with it. Yeeehaww! I'm enjoying this brush!

I like the Wee Scot but my hand cramps up at times when I use it. I don't have this problem with the Omega (11047). Initially the Omega was a little scritchy but after a month of use it has broken in very nicely. The Omega holds an impressive amount of water and I get 3+ passes without reload. I am currently using Fitness soft soap and it works up very easily. I tried a triple milled soap last week and it also worked up easily. The Omega has just the right amount of backbone for me and good heft for a satisfying quality feel and puts lather exactly where you want it. At 1/3 the price of the Wee Scot the Omega (11047) is a no brainer and provides great value. I put in an order for two more as I have heard that Omega may discontinue it in the mixed badger/boar form. For me the Omega Mighty Midget is a big thumbs up and a brush I hope to live with for a long time! Big thumbs up and not much to knock this brush on. A great choice for anyone that prefers a small brush. It takes a little longer to wash out lather after use than a small boar but that is pretty much standard. It is a breeze to clean compared to a dense standard size brush.

Had (and loved) a wee scot for the last few months. I ordered this omega last week from WCS and can't wait to compare the two.

I would be interested in reading your comparison of the two brushes.

WCS has it now!?! I would have ordered it with my Wee Scott if I had known...What is the number on this one? Not sure which it is since none of them are referred to as a "might midget."

I love my Wee Scot I just got. Funk is gone now and the brush is great (makes me want another Simpson brush heh).

Try putting some o-rings around the handle. Works a treat and looks cool too.

Even though I have the boar version of the Mighty Midget, thanks to this thread I just had to order the badger/boar version. No, I don't think I have an AD. I'll now have a collection of four small brushes, the Wee Scot, and the Omega Bambino and now two Mighty midgets. I think I'll have to get some smaller hands.

wow! Its only $13 on WCS. Once its back in stock I'm definitely going to pick it up. Going between my boar omega and the wee scot, I think the wee scot is a much "nicer" brush but the omega I beat up on and get great results!
