I checked out some dimensions on a few of these small brushes and it might be of interest to others.

    The Omega Mighty Midget

Ht: 73 mm Loft: 43 mm Base: 30 mm Knot: 20 mm

    The Simpson Wee Scot

Ht: 67 mm Loft: 36 mm Base: 31 Knot: 14 mm

Also the Omega L'il Runt Bambino

Ht: 88 mm Loft: 46 mm Base: 42 mm Knot: 18 mm

Also to be considered, the Wee Scot is badger, the Mighty Midget a pure badger/bristle mix and the Bambino all bristle

Having had both brushes, I can say that the Mighty Midget feels much much bigger than the Wee Scot -- it's a great big-feeling little brush -- it was just a little too soft and fluffy for me.........hm, maybe I should have tried the O-ring trick on it.......

Does the Mighty Midget hold enough lather for three passes? I can manage to get two out of the wee one, but three is a very tough go.

I was travelling recently and had the chance to compare a Vie-Long 14020 horse/badger combo to an Omega 50068 boar. The Vie-Long won hands down. Here are its specs, as listed by Gifts & Care: knot, 18 mm; loft, 48 mm; handle height, 30 mm. Current price is around $20 US, mailed from Spain.
Wales is not like Arkansas in any way (with apologies to John Cale).

    I own the Vie-Long 13120 pony; overall 73mm; Loft 44mm; Handle 29mm; Knot 17mm
    Vie-Long posing with Semogue 610
Update; the loft actually measured 46mm

Mine just came in from Shoebox, and is currently sitting in a mug full of Proraso to break in. If anyone would like comparison pics of anything, please let me know, I'd be happy to get some up.
It seemed very stiff at first, but is breaking in a ton, I'll report more with tomorrow mornings shave!

    Awesome!

Seeing the picture almost feels like I just got a new brush in the mail and I'm there breaking it in!

100% Horse, easily holds enough for 2 passes and a touch-up

Has it been stained to look like badger? Or does horse have a similar two band thing.

picked that up from Best grooming, they come with the Faux Badger look, like my boars I prefer the Natural look. I bought this before finding gifts and care, which for some reason doesn't have an operational website right now.

Thanks mftoms59. Am seriously tempted inspite of the faux badger look.

Heck, I can't control the BAD. I just ordered the mighty Midget and a wee scot. Hopefully they will get her soon from Westcoast so I can compare them. I had to order them both, right? And some more MWF and other soaps to get the FREE SHIPPING.
