The Reviews section...

Ahoy from Osaka,

I've been away from the boards for a while and have just come back to many changes here at B&B. I wanted to ask about the Reviews section which seems a pale shadow of its former self...

Every reviewer has 'NO' displayed for whether they would recommend a product or not.
Above each person's review it says their rating is '0' regardless of what they have actually rated the product. So you end up with a product with an average rating of, say, '9' yet only recommended by 2% of reviewers. A bit misleading.

I am not belittling all the work that has obviously gone into the site overhaul but I have to say that I like the old review system better. You could get a gauge on a the popularity of a product at a glance. Not so now.

The upgrade is not yet completed, the transition to have the information in the reviews was difficult and there are stills bits and pieces that need adjustment...

Thanks for the update on the reviews. I was also curious about this, because I love the reviews here at B&B. I think they are so valuable. Any chance that there will be a way to alphabetize them again? I found it much easier to navigate when they were alphabetized.

Alphabetization will be coming back, the ratings will be corrected, etc....

We were FORCED to move from the old reviews system to this system. A custom importer script had to be created for the task, etc.....There is a LOT of work to be done on the reviews, still.
