1) ***SOLD*** 11/16 A Witte "Hustler" full hollow -
Razor is in excellent overall condition. A few superficial water marks and light scratches, but great otherwise with a mirror finish. Razor had originally a blued tang, but was faded a bit. I cleaned it all off and re-blued the tang as original and think it looks great now. Tang is also hammered. A Witte is a quality german maker and admit it - you want a razor labeled "Hustler" in your collection. Larry Flynte would be proud
Scales are faux wood celluloid. Razor sits tight in the pivot and centers. Asking $65

4) ***SOLD*** 9/16 Erik Anton Berg Swedish Full Hollow in Ivory -
Razor in great shape with mirror finish. Couple minor water marks/very shallow pits on the front, but nothing major. There were some heel issues I had to correct, so there is some hone wear on the shoulder. Scales are original ivory and have a slight crack near the wedge pin on the front that is quite stable, but otherwise in great shape. Don't let the size put you off as these are great shavers. Sits tight in the pivot and centers. Asking $48

7) 9/16 Gebr Weyersberg Solingen 1/4 Hollow -

8) ***SOLD*** 5/8+ George Wostenholm Etched Blade Wedge -
Razor in great shape (measures 0.665" wide so a bit over 5/8). 2 or 3 specks or minor pits on the back of the blade, but nothing on the front. Satin mirror finish throughout. Front of blade has a nice frosted etch that I tried to capture on the camera. Definitely easier to see in person and not faint at all. Scales are original horn. They do have some flea bites and a major one on the back, but none of these affect the functionality of the scales at all. I think it gives them character and I'm not one to replace scales if they still serve their purpose. Blade sits tight in the pivot and centers. Asking $60

9) ***SOLD*** 4/8-9/16 George Wostenholm Pipe Razor Full Hollow -
Measures 9/16 at the heel and tapers to a little over 4/8 at the toe. This razor had minimal hone wear so I'm assuming that was how it was made. Excellent overall pit free condition with a satin mirror finish. Bakelite scales in great shape. Sits tight in the pivot and centers. Asking $40

10) ***SOLD*** 13/16 Old French 1/4 Hollow "Lepine A Lyon" -
At least I'm assuming it is French from the "Lyon". This is a very nice razor and in excellent satin mirror finish shape. Maybe 1 or 2 micropits, but that is the only thing I can say bad about this one. Razor has a smiling edge measuring 13/16 at the widest point and nice barber's notch that gives it a spanish point. Scales are original brown horn with a lead wedge in great shape. No flea bites at all. I really like this one and if you are looking for something unique for your collection, then this is it. I think it is fairly old based on the tail of the tang (slightly stubby and fat). Takes an excellent edge as well. Sits tight in the pivot and centers well. Asking $85

11) ***SOLD*** 7/8 MJ Higgins Sheffield Wedge in Custom Horn -
Razor is in excellent shape with a Satin finish. Couple small pits on the tang, but none on the blade. I wanted to keep the lines on the tang area so I didn't remove all the pits. Razor measures 0.860" wide with a smiling edge (a hair under 7/8).
Horn scales are custom made from brown/blonde translucent horn. They were originally on a razor I purchased that was restored by Bob Keyes. The scales were a little thick for that razor and were better suited for a Sheffield wedge so I transferred them over. It has a wood wedge that I'm not sure of what wood. Very nice scales and fit so much better on this Sheffield. Razor closes off-center towards the back scale, but won't hit the edge.
This one was finished on a vintage thuringian and takes a great edge that will rival anything from Sheffield. Asking $135

12) ***SOLD*** 11/16 Torrey 1/4 Hollow -
Razor is cleaned to a mirror finish, but has some speckled of micropitting throughout. Nothing major or that would affect the edge. 1/4 hollow and round point, so it would make a nice starter straight. Bakelite scales in great shape. Razor sits tight in the pivot and centers. Asking $45

13) 11/16 Beaujeu Aine Worked Back French Full Hollow -
Razor in great shape and mirror finish throughout. Couple minor speckles of micropits on the back of the blade, but nothing major or anything that would affect the edge. Nice Worked spine and there are remnants of the blade etch reading "Rose de France" . Full Hollow and a french tip.
Scales are faux ivory celluloid with a nice looking inlay. There are some minor microcracks near the pivot, but they are very stable and only on the surface. I've had this razor in a rotation for about a year now and these never affected it. In fact I never thought I'd be selling this one. Asking $80

14) ***SOLD*** 13/16 Wade & Butcher Wedge -
Razor is in great to excellent condition. Maybe a speck or 2 of some superficial micropitting, but you'd have to really look to see them. Razor has a nice satin mirror finish, slight smiling edge, barber's notch and deep tang stamps. Couple minor surface scratches, but nothing major.
Scales are original horn. There is a minor crack on the front scale near the wedge pin, but it seems stable. The front scale is also slightly warped, but nothing major and the scales overall are in good shape for the sage. Razor sits tight in the pivot and centers well. Asking $75

15) 13/16 Fisher 188 Strand Wedge -
Samuel Fisher at 188 Strand first shows up in the London directories in 1839 (as a dressing case maker), and continued through at least 1899. based on the stubbiness of the tail on this razor, I would think that around 1850-1870 would be an accurate guess as to the age. Not sure if Strand is the actual maker, or if it was make in Sheffield to be distributed by Fisher's company in London.
The razor has a very nice satin finish to it. There are a couple minor specs of micropitting, but nothing near the edge and very minor and isolated (see pictures). The razor measures 0.800" at the widest point, so a hair under 13/16. A nice smiling edge with barber's notch highlight this one. While it looks like a near wedge grind, I would personally call this an 1/8 hollow, which I actually prefer to a wedge grind personally.
Scales are original ivory (through digging on the internet I've found that Samuel Fisher was also an ivory turner, so not a surprise to see the scales in ivory). There is a crack at the wedge pin on the front, which is common to see on ivory scales. The wedge spacer is lead.
The razor does close a little off-center towards the front scale and it is best to guide it in. It does sit tight in the pivot pin. This one takes a very nice edge. Asking $85

16) ***SOLD*** 5/8 J Nowill & Sons Sheffield 3/4 Hollow in Ivory -
Razor in good condition and cleaned throughout. There are some speckles of micropitting throughout that you can see in the pictures, but nothing near the edge. They are all cleaned out, so no chance of spreading if the razor is properly cared for. Tang stamp is interesting as it says below the maker "Established AD 1700" - there are also a couple symbols, one being 2 keys in a cross. The spine is also somewhat worked and says "Friday", so presumably from a set.
Scales are original ivory and in great shape. No cracks on these ones, just a little patina from age.
Razor sits tight in the pivot and closes a little off-center towards the front scale, but doesn't hit. Asking $50

17) ***SOLD*** La Verte Coticule -
Glued to slate. Measures 23mm x 125mm. Stone has moderate speed on both slurry and water. What you lack in the speed on slurry, the speed on water allows you to catch up. This is actually a very easy strata to use and I love the edges from them. I just have a slightly larger one I prefer. While the stone is small I've honed 7/8 blades with a dilucot on it. Paid $34 from Jarrod. Asking $30 - int'l a little extra for shipping.

18) ***SOLD*** La Veinette Coticule -
This is rare to see a coticule with a rough cut like this. It measures approx 20-25mm x 175mm. The BBW side is not really useable due to the rough cut of this. Fast on slurry, slow on water and leaves a mellow edge. Again not for the beginner due to the narrowness of the hone. Paid $54 I believe for this. Asking $45 shipped CONUS, Int'l a little more for shipping.
