    Default its all about bling!

When i ordered my Kent RK2 i couldn’t have thought that it would come in such a detailed crafted case. I mean just look at it!!!

It leather covered cyclical shaped case with its own little stand, its even got a a little book inside detailing all Kent products......

This has got me thinking what is the best packaging out there? i mean what you ordered from a manufacturer that came in wrapped in something so special that’s made you say "WOW" before you have even open box.
In Kent’s case they have spent a lot of time on details and without opening it I feel like an edwardian gentleman....

Man, I can't wait for my BK4 to arrive... I probably should have SWMBO make pictures when it does... I have been accused before of being happy as a kid when getting something new. And this really looks beautiful .

i do think its about presentation! if somone spends this much amount of time to show their product you have to think that they must be offering something very special!

Has anyone pictures of their own to show off???

Sorry, but I don't agree. I don't shave with a box and the money devoted to the presentation is figured into the box. Why should I pay for something thats going to be chucked into a drawer for all eternity. I would rather the money be put into the product, maybe a few extra hairs on the brush or something.

+1 on that. Saville Row is a good example of the screw-the-box-let's-put-it-into-the-brush thinking.

However, that is one sexy looking brush!

YMMV all over the place. I really like the G.B. Kent box and think the presentation improves the experience. And it's a great brush, too.

LOL yes it is a one secy looking brush!

dont get me wrong i agree that presentation isnt everything and that if you paying a certain amount then that extra should be used to make the product better. However in the day of mass production and everything looks the same, its nice change to see a company taking the time to make something different. I like the world of hand made good, stuff that is build to last and will still be about when i six feet under being turned into worm food.

I take my shaving very personally and I like that I am thinking about my shave hours even days before I have a shave. To see someone like Kent adding a little personal touch like the case means they care about what the sell to their customers.
