FS: Newbie lots and more! (CONUS)

1. Fountain pen "starter" set

I've put together a starter set that includes a Hero 616 pen and four 4-mL samples of Noodler's ink. I included a color-corrected picture to show both the names of the inks and what the inks look like. In case you're wondering how thick of a line the pen lays down, I wrote the ink samples with Hero 616 pens.

Before photographing these pens, I inked them, wrote with them, and flushed them out. From there I took them apart and adjusted the nibs/feeds to they lined up perfectly. Then I applied silicone grease to the section threads (those closest to the nib) to prevent ink leakages. I have one set with a black pen and one set with a green pen. 2. Newbie software set #1

Matt, thanks for the pen and the Noodler's ink samples. It was a lot of fun until my wife decided that the pen and Brown ink was now hers. She has written several notes to friends at the DAR and said to tell you thanks as it writes like "butter". Doug
