Default Jermyn Street Alcohol Free Aftershave

Anyone have the Taylor of Bond Jermyn Street Alcohol Free Aftershave. I remember reading one review stating that the scent is similar to the TOBS Jermyn cream (one of my favorite cream scents). I'm guessing since it's an aftershave the scent doesn't stick around too long and goes away quick? Anyone have this aftershave care to share their opinion about it? Thank you

    * Just found a review for this aftershave by one user; the good news it's supposed to smell "exactly" like the cream and the scent is supposed to last long. I'm sold

It lasts a long time on my skin. The scent is great, just like the cream. TOBS was supposed to release a Jermyn Street Cologne last month but I haven't seen it for sale yet. I am a big fan of the Jermyn Street collection.

I've been using it for a little while. I got it in January and had been using it pretty much exclusively.

I like it, though it's not been so amazing as to be my be-all-end-all AS. I actually find that it gives me a bit of a burn (despite the lack of alcohol) that I do sometimes enjoy. It has mineral oil as one of its primary ingredients, though, and can feel a bit greasy at times. Staying power is pretty decent, and I'm eagerly awaiting their EdT release of it. The scent is really awesome, no question about that.

I also bought the AS cream in the tube for travel purposes. I actually like it better as it absorbs better and doesn't burn at all. I'd recommend that, personally, even though it's a bit pricier per use.

To be honest, if I had enough posts to sell or trade, I might put the lotion up on there and just stick with the cream.

I purchased a bottle a few months ago, unfortunately I really dislike it. I have used it 3 times, nice feel on the skin, no burn or irritation - but the fragrance i cannot stomach. It is very over powering, i really like old school scents, Old Spice, Bay Rum, Sandlewood, AV etc but can't wear this one. Maybe i should PIF it.

I agree with this completely. The AS lasts a surprisingly long time and you actually need to be careful that you don't use too much of it - it's quite strong.

I agree with these comments too. I found it surprising that it sometimes burns a little (only a little though) given that it doesn't contain alcohol. Must be some other ingredient in it. As to the greasiness - this is weird. It feels a little bit 'tacky' when you put it on but then it absorbs very quickly so it doesn't bother me at all. It just means you have to apply it quickly so that you don't use too much and smell like you're swimming in the stuff!

I personally think it's great, but am also looking forward to the EDT when that is released.

How much do you use and how do you apply it? The atomizer sort of throws me for a loop, since it's not like an EdT that I want dispersed but at the same time not covering all of a specified area. Do you just spray on your hands and then rub it in as usual?
