Default My "El Tangerino" custom Bomb by Al Raz

I just have to mention that this stuff is pretty fly and works very well with Sensitive skin. I have 8 oz of this and boy does it define a little does go a long way w/out much water. I would say the lather is up there with Cella (Kilo Brick). Also I've tried CF Lime and I believe I got a better BBS shave with 'El Tangerino' IMO. I finally got something that isn't Lime and is primarily an orange tangerine which i've always been on the lookout for.

If any of you have tried Al Raz's Bombs please share your experience b/c I think this is a great Artisan SC and should be tried by everyone in the wet shaving world.

Thanks and have a great day!

It really is! I honestly think its a more masculine scent when compared to lime. The aroma of the 'El Tangerino' is like when you peel into a fresh tangerine/orange and the mist of the pulp is dispersed into the air. I love it!

I don't know who's worse, the Queen Charlotte Soap guys or the Al Raz fans. Every time I see a post about these creams it makes me want to buy them. Both of these artisan creams CONSISTENTLY get better than average marks from a variety of users. This usually translates into something pretty special. Tangerine is a WONDERFUL scent. I had a shave stick from QED in spearmint/tangerine and it was super. One of the nicer citrus oils really. Well, now i have another cream maker earmarked for further exploration. Thanks a bunch you lot.

    Regards, Todd

Don't get me wrong b/c QCS is also great. Thats why when have to choose your ultimate favorite SC/SS you just can't b/c theres a rotation! But Honestly I thought I would start something b/c you don't hear too much of Al Raz's Bombs anymore. Now after trying it I love the stuff!

Is your "El Tangerino" a straight tangerine scent, or is it a blend? I'm a woman, and am not fond of most florals, woods, etc. Which leaves primarily lime. I love lime, but wouldn't mind another nice citrus scent.

Its a straight tangerine scent. Completely opposite to any floral, woodsy and lime scent. Smells like a fresh tangerine/orange that you peel before eating.

I plan on getting a sample pack of his product after my current shaving supplies run out. I've heard nothing but good things about his creams.

How do you compare it to other products? You mentioned Cella, but are there any other creams you think it beats out? Any creams you think are better?

The lather I produce with Cella is exquisite b/c its protective, slick and feels good on your skin. It comes to the point where it won't stop producing copious amounts lather with the shaving brush. In the "El Tangerino's" case it works the same way for me. But also I tried CF Lime before my El Tangerino and CF Lime was not at all protective for me. I prefer Al Raz's Bomb over a mile along with QCS. Can't wait to shave with it this morning!

Also thanks for responding b/c I wanted to start a thread and responses are all positive. If you guys are going to get Al Raz's Bomb just mention El Tangerino and I think Al would know who it is. Al made sure I was happy with my custom Bomb and will do the same for you too. Great Customer Care & Product.

Yeah, I know. Why do I kid myself into thinking if I check B&B I am not going to want to buy a bunch of stuff?!

To the OP, that scent sounds wonderful. I am also a big fan of orange citrus scents. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks! Honestly its a great scent to wake up too in the morning when shaving. Every other scent i've seen are like Orange sherbet not straight orange by any other artisan, TTT's or even CF. He even gave me a sample of the El Tangerino custom ASB and it just polishes your BBS shave with that excellent scent. I want this wet shaver community to see there missing out on this very scent because it never really comes up and the primary citrus scent that's always mention is Lime. BTW the El Tangerino doesn't smell artificial or candy like. It smells like a fresh Tangerine/Orange pulp and rinds hahaha.

Ordered a sample pack a week ago and am anxiously waiting for it to arrive. Watching that lathering video on his home page made me drool.

Got the sample pack recently and just tried a couple of the soaps and I've gotta say that I am thoroughly impressed with this artisan's cream/soaps. Nice scents and the amount of lather produced made me laugh -- it was almost lewd how much lather was spilling all over the place. That, however, was not the best part of the shave. These soaps produce great cushioning and are awesomely slick. My "Ahhhhhhhh" moment came after the shave was over and I rubbed my mug -- it was soooooo smoove and hydrated. Passing my samples along to some burgeoning wet shavers and ordering some more from Al pronto.
