I plan to use the same brush, razor and blade (Feather) combo for all my shaves.

At the risk of repeating the previous reviews I have been wanting to try the Cella for a while now, I really like almond scented soaps. A nice small almond scoop of soap delivered a lovely lather that was slick, although I noticed that the almond scent seemed to fade after lathering. Nonetheless, I had a nice comfortable shave - good stuff. After much consultation with the wife I selected the Boosters for my post shave treatment. A big thumbs up for this stuff - similar sentiments to the other reviews, left my face feeling smooth and toned. Great scent that did linger, will be looking to get my hands on some.

Will be looking to shake things up tomorrow and trying to steer clear of the almond scented soaps/creams - I might go Brazilian!

Sorry to threadjack, but where did you get the omega boar with the nice wooden handle? I've only seen them with the silver coloured handle.

I bought it in Canada while in a business trip earlier this year, it was about $10 in one of their large chain pharmacies.

I have been curious about the Menu cream and decided to give it a whirl. I am also a big fan of the Trumpers skinfood, in particular the sandalwood, I have tried the Lime before and did not really care for it, I am not fond of citrus scents.

The Menu cream has a very thin consistency which i was not expecting, but it produced a very thick, rich lather. It has a fresh mint like scent and has a cooling sensation when applied on the face, which i really enjoy (big fan of Proraso cream/soap). Overall a big thumbs up for this product.

The Coral skinfood performed as expected, soothing and sealed my skin. The scent was something I really enjoyed, yes there is a hint of rose but it is by no means feminine - good stuff!!

Well after just 2 shaves I have added atleast 2-3 products on my future shopping list

Thanks for the great photos and reviews.
It is interesting how you have gone to some products which I elected not to try.
That makes the whole excercise so interesting.

Excellent...my turn soon. Some things like Trumpers Skin Food I've wanted to try for ages. And I never use any aftershave splash, just alum, witch hazel and balm, so I'm looking forward to trying out whatever is in there. But some of the reviews are making me look forward to other stuff as well!

OK, so I thought i would start trying products that I have not seen or heard of before. Time to go Brazilian - Bozzano.

A small almond scoop of the very subtle scented cream. I was able to produce a very thick and rich lather without any fuss or issues. The product contains menthol (I think) so again the shave was associated with a nice cooling sensation that i personally enjoy.

The aftershave was also labelled mentolado, so applying the splash also resulted in a nice cooling sensation, but along with the scent was very mild and very short lived.

Overall the shave was pleasant enough, the products performed well, but nothing truly outstanding or particularly memorable.

Saturday morning shave - so much choice! Decided on another product that i had not seen before, Lea shave stick (Spain). I never really used shave sticks before other than the supermarket Mennen. Sliced a small piece of the end with a new blade and rubbed the small puck over my wet face. Wet brush and hey presto, a nice slick lather formed without any fuss. This surprised me, I was expecting to have to lather the brush and soap in a mug, but no need. The scent is very subtle, can't really describe a scent, the scent was generic "soapy". Shave was very comfortable, the lather held up well and did not dry out at all.

Chose the Royall Lyme to finish the shave, I have said before citrus scents are not my preference but i really wanted to try this more for the product than the scent. Application resulted a healthy amount of sting and burn, some of this may have been the result of the soap/after shave combo, but the product does give a burn to the skin. The burn faded relatively quickly. The scent was not really citrus, I think i have read it being described as lime cordial. I agree, it is like a subtle lime juice cordial. Although the scent is subtle it did stay for a couple of hours and left my skin feeling soft and nicely moisturised. A nice product but i do not think i will rushing out to buy some.

Good reviews! I heard the same thing about the Lea stick. It's good but very mild scent that isn't worth mentioning...

Thanks guys. I have a question, there is a very small plastic atomiser in a zip lock bag together with some Floris, Trumpers and other colognes. Does anyone know what is in the small atomiser? I can take a pic and post if needed.
    Cheers.
