Although the pics are thoroughly enjoyable, the SOTD serves a multi-purpose function for me. It serves as a journal to see what I have/have not used. Sometimes I refer back to it if I'm not sure how many times I have used a blade. It also gives me ideas of what I may want my next set-up to be. I have also pm'd people who were usiing certain products that I have not tried and ask for their thoughts on the product. So, to each his/her own. But SOTD... 
I post my shaves to give the newbies yet another resource and product listing. On occasion I'l post a mini review if I liked a particular combo. This is my way of inspiring more to join the collective. 
I agree with you in principle though, Randy. The Pics are about the only thing I look at other than my own posts in this section.

That was a very brave post. You must have put a lot of thought into whether to even mention it to the rest of us. I respect your decision to finally 'come out of the bathroom'. Took some guts.
