That's odd, Jim, a Wostenholm, you say? I have the same razor, black handle, same head of a king, same blade, etching, square point, but mine is from the Weyersberg bros.

1924 Gillette "Bostonian" -- the photos speak for themselves, as well as for a solid hour of my giving it a "hand-job" with Nevr-Dull, Maas, and Simichrome. Worth it.

Beautiful. I feel RAD brewing up again. Where did you find it?

Default Some vintage stuff from the past couple of weeks ...

A wood bowl of Lentheric. Possibly unused. It has a fairly spicy, cologney scent. Perhaps this is different from the Lavande that slcsteve had?

An unused bakelite bowl of Paislay's soap.

An unused Yardey gift set consisting of Invisible Talc, a sealed bowl of shaving soap, and a ful bottle of aftershaving lotion (smells great!). The warrent listed in the soap is for the late King George, so I'm guessing this is from the mid to late fifties?

The thrill of the chase is over. Now I have to decide what to do with the prizes. Hold on the them? Use them? Put them up for sale/trade?

    Nice score!

I say "use 'em and enjoy 'em" -- old wine eventually turns into vinegar... and not even the right kind for rinsing a shaving brush
