Futur POS vs HD

I believe I read that the Futur and HD possess the same head geometry. Out of curiosity, which setting makes a Futur = a HD?

Ziggy, I own both and don't believe they have the same head at all.

IMHO, that would be kinda like saying a paring knife is similar to a good filleting knife.

Very different head geometry. But: I use an HD quite often. When I started using the Futur I (sensibly) started with the setting 1.0. I went to 1.5 after a couple of shaves and stayed there for quite a while. I now use it at 2.0. So this HD user likes the Futur at 2.0 (after learning at 1.5). YM, of course, MV.

ah ok i guess i that's where i got the wrong impression from

good thing i never picked up a progress, while i do get decent shaves out of my futur, my HD has never treated me very well

I can get great shaves with both the HD and the Progress. However, I leave the Progress set to either 3 or 4, and never change it. So I usually pick up the HD. Well, I did. Now it is the 38C!
