Bruce Cockburn- solo acoustic show from 02/02/07. Terrible recording but great performance.

I watched the digitally animated movie "Open Season" with my son recently.

Mediocre movie, but most of the soundtrack is written and performed by Paul Westerberg (former Replacements lead singer). Good CD, with "Meet Me In The Meadow" and "Love You In The Fall" being particularly catchy (both played during closing credits).

I've been on a steady diet of Iron Maiden since I saw them this past Friday. I did have to throw in some Strapping Young Lad this morning to add some variety.

I was in the office this morning and listening to the oldies mix station on my little radio and by golly, it put me on a Carpenters kick.

I know they're reviled by many, but just consider it another embarrasing confession that I like the Carpenters. That goes with my Grover phobia.

Jakob Dylan's newest album seeing things. So far it's not too bad. I've always enjoyed his voice.

How was the show? I'm debating on whether or not to go see them. I saw them a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I'm kind of curious about this tour since I didn't get to see the original "World Slavery Tour" (I saw them on the next tour in 1987 - "Somewhere On Tour") - I've heard they're using some of the Egyptian sets from the Powerslave era..
