A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, and die gallantly. Specialization is for insects. - Robert A. Heinlein

Gov't Mule was a force of nature when they were a trio with Allen Woody. Saw them many times and own dozens of bootlegs- they never failed to amaze me. The "new school" is a great band and they are still great live but give me the old school any day of the week. I still buy all their stuff and see them whenever I can. Warren is an incredible guitarist. Matt is a versatile and gifted drummer. Hess is a great bassist (reminds me of Rocco from Tower of Power). And Danny has added a dimension as full-time member playing keyboard/trumpet/guitar/whatever is needed. They are a cure for the all the crap music that surrounds us.

    RIP Allen Woody!

So very nice. I am a fan of the 80s albums. Red, Yellow and Blue. All are masterpieces. "Talk, talk, its only talk..." I was listening to Discipline earlier.

flight of the conchords- business time

A comedy band from New Zealand. I heard it in my car yesterday and spat coffee all over myself. This lyric especially...

You know when I’m down to just my socks its time for business,
...that’s why they call them business socks

So I'm not listening to it right now but they were sooooo good I had to share them. They are well done songs by a Calgary artist but as silly at the same time.

Heather Blush: Papaya, Papaya and Damsel in Distress.
