Never been into the indie scene but maybe I should take a closer look. Sounds good.

This is one of those albums I listened to about 50 times the first time I heard it. Love Karen O's vocals.

She did the soundtrack to "Where the Wild Things Are". Didn't care for the movie but the music was pretty good.

I've heard of them, but have never heard their stuff before. It's good...I like it.

Lately, lot's of Nick Cave and the Grinderman album a couple of times yesterday. Been playing his cover album repeatedly, good stuff.
Ah great. Glad old Nick and the boys are getting some US play. Always one of my faves.

I don't think anybody does the whole "subdued rage on the verge of turning murderous" genre as well as Nick Cave.

I see Nick C. got a mention. Coincidentally, today I listened to No More Shall We Part and it was great.

The Olympic Closing Ceremony. Actually did not manage to DVR The Who.

    Kaiser Chiefs are great, anyway.

Most of what I saw fairly amusing. I think I liked Jesse J a lot better before seeing this, which is probably unfair. "Wonderwall" by Beady Eye rather than by Oasis, or at least the Gallagher brothers, not all that good. Although I would have said that back in the day Liam was the better vocalist and he did sing WW on the CD.

Really good of David Bowie to show up!

Amazing dis by NBC of Ray Davies.

This is probably my favorite track off of it but the whole thing is good.
