What's new

What are you listening to?

Handel violin sonatas at present. Though I'm also fond of old rock, jazz, opera, and country. Oh, did I mention Celtic, Texas fiddle music, certain Asian music and uh.... uh.....Oh heck, I like everything but rap!

Hanatarashi - We Are Hardcore

These guys drove through the wall of a club they were playing. With a forklift or backhoe or something. Hardcore indeed.

Last 5 songs on the iPhone (in order):

Lou Reed - Walk on the Wild Side
Wu Tang Clan - Enter the Wu Tang
Elton John - Daniel
Danzig - Mother
Eminem - White America

Slayers new one, 'World Painted Blood' this morning while painting and 'Mulligan Meets Monk' this afternoon whilst relaxing with a glass of mead and a cigar.

Pete

Alan Lomax - Negro Prison Songs

Was Lomax the guy that went around the US in the early part of last century and recorded 'indigenous' folk music' for the Library of Congress? The name rings a bell and I think I saw it in the liner notes of Muddy Water's Plantation recordings.
